Candidates to attend forum of Jewish Republicans (AP)

Nearly all the Republicans running for the party's presidential nomination are in Washington to speak at a forum sponsored by the Republican Jewish Coalition.

The forum begins Wednesday morning and runs into the late afternoon. Of the major candidates, only Congressman Ron Paul is not scheduled to participate.

The Republican Jewish Coalition says it focuses on strengthening the Jewish Republican voice in Washington and elsewhere in the U.S. Founded in 1985, the group was formerly known as the National Jewish Coalition.
